THE POSITION The SVFD is seeking to establish an eligibility list of highly energetic and motivated Lateral Firefighter/Paramedics. Under general supervision, Lateral Firefighters participate in fire suppression, prevention, training, and rescue activities in protecting life, property, and the environment. In addition, participate in medical emergencies and provide basic and advanced life support care as needed.
