When tragedy recently struck a Nashville firefighter and Tennessee Titans season ticket holder, Derrick Henry stepped up to lend a helping hand. Local firefighter Jeremy Taylor, a father of four girls, recently lost his new Nashville home to a fire. After seeing the news on social media, Henry reached out to the Titans to ask how he could help. “I saw the tweet and I was just touched by it, losing a home is such a tragic occurrence,” Henry said according to the Titans team site. “Not only did I see the tweet but I saw that he was a Titans fan and also a first responder. Nashville has been through so much as a community – the tornado, the pandemic going on, and then the Christmas bombing. I just wanted to be able to help someone in need and someone who has been helping everyone else throughout this pandemic.” Not long after reaching out and getting Taylor’s contact information, the Nashville firefighter showed up to work with a $15,000 donation waiting for him. Henry donated $10,000 from his ‘Two All’ Foundation and Campbell’s Chunky Soup donated the other $5,000 to help out.
