PHOTOS: It helps when batters in the Home Run Derby catch fire during their rounds. MLB nearly took that too literally. As the derby participants were announced at Dodger Stadium, the pyrotechnic jets were set off all around, with one burst shooting high into the sky behind the stage, appearing to nearly set Ronald Acuña Jr. on fire. MLB certainly pulled out all the stops for the introduction of each of the players. There was a DJ, dramatic introductions for each player and smoke machines as each came out of their entrances. Once all the players were on stage, the presentation was taken to the next level. There were fire jets on the backdrop of the stage as they waited for one another, and for group shots. Of course, with nearly setting one of the contestants on fire, MLB found itself getting roasted online.
