VIDEO: The Proctorville Volunteer Fire Department’s station sustained extensive damage in Tuesday’s storms. According to our crew at the scene, a rear block wall collapsed along with part of the roof. Despite that damage, the department’s main fleet of vehicles didn’t sustain damage. Proctorville firefighters told us they have had help from the Chesapeake and Rome Township volunteer fire departments. Elsewhere in the Proctorville community, the roof of Fairland West Elementary was partially blown off. One fire truck was damaged by the roof collapse.
