PHOTO: Surveillance video captured the moment an Albany fire truck overturned on Friday.
The fire truck overturned on South Harding Street Friday afternoon. Crews worked over an hour to get it back turned over and cleaned up.
“I heard a big old boom. That’s it. I just can’t even believe it,” said Angel Caldwell, a witness.
Officials said four firefighters were in the truck at the time of the accident. No serious injuries have been reported and all four firefighters were taken to the hospital to get checked out.
Some people said they were shocked to see the aftermath of the accident.
“I can’t even imagine how a firetruck can even be turned over. I mean, do you see the way it is? I mean who’s ever in their lifetime seen a firetruck upside down like that? It’s really scary and heartbreaking,” another witness said.
