We advertised our 1988 GMC fire truck. We had hits from all over the US and Buenos Aires, Argentina. If we sell any other equipment we will advertise with the Daily Dispatch. You get results.
Jay Marugg, Fire Chief

We received an abundance of inquiries and just yesterday sold the engine to a department in rural Virginia that was in dire need. We never would have gotten the national exposure without the Daily Dispatch. Thanks so much for your assistance,

Good news; the ladder truck that we posted in the Daily Dispatch is sold! They drove away with it this morning headed to Monclova, Ohio. They saw it in the Daily Dispatch and the rest is history... Thanks for your help.

We have sold the vehicle & I really do appreciate all the help you folks have given us. Its amazing how many people find out about things like this. I don’t know how many phone calls I received from many different places... The Daily Dispatch is a very nice resource…
Thank you,
Fire Chief Mike McCafferty

A couple of months ago the East Fork Fire and Paramedic Districts announced a career opportunity on The Daily Dispatch. We received such a good response from all over the country that we have decided to use your website again to post our most recent career opportunity.

The Daily Dispatch was a cost-effective means to advertise for Southern Platte Fire Protection District’s ( Kansas City, MO) position of Division Chief – Training. We used the “All States” option to get a bigger market. We received more out of State applications, from Alaska to Florida, by using the Daily Dispatch than expected. This allowed a better, more qualified group of applicants. The Daily Dispatch was the way to go for us and it is recommended to other agencies if in the need to fill a position.

The Daily Dispatch has significantly increased our sales with exposure to the right folks who need our services. We have developed some fantastic relationships and would have never been exposed to the Fire Fighting community otherwise.
I would definitely recommend the DD if you want to reach decision makers in this community.

Advertising with The Daily Dispatch has increased our website activity and brand recognition immensely, thus over a short period of time we've realized an increase in sales for our organization. I would highly recommend advertising with the DD to just about any organization.

The Daily Dispatch is by far the most read publication, by firefighters. The best part of it is that you tell the other side. Bad things, and good things. People like to hear good things also. I think the best one was the FDNY member rescued three kids and the dog. The reporter that interviewed him called him a hero. His reply was, “I was just doing my job."

The York Area United Fire & Rescue (YAUFR), a newly created merged fire department located in York County, PA, advertised its first position of Fire Chief nationwide through the Daily Dispatch in the last few months. More than 90 inquiries and applications were received, interviews were held and a new fire chief has been selected. Thanks for your help in this important matter.

When I first started receiving the daily dispatch I thought "Great, another e-mail to go through and delete." BOY WAS I WRONG! I look forward to your daily e-mails and have used and referenced article in them on many occasions. It is an EXTREMELY useful tool and I appreciate all that you do keeping the fire service informed. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I started getting the dispatch a few weeks ago and it immediately put me in touch with fire related news from around the state. I have been watching several stories with interest. Much of the information I have gotten through the dispatch would have never reached me by any other means. Merry Christmas and a happy and successful new year,
Chief Sid Scrimger

The best...I can’t say enough good things about this service. I rush to start my computer every morning just to read and see what is going on around the area. You even had some articles on my home town of Long Branch. Please keep up the good work.

The Daily Dispatch is one of the most valuable resources that I receive by email each day. Thank you for developing such a useful tool. I am glad to maintain my membership with the IAFC. You make it easy to stay current on breaking issues.

A few months ago we were recruiting for an Assistant Fire Chief of Operations. After one month, we had received very few applications. We decided to have the position posted on the Western Fire Chiefs Association’s Daily Dispatch. During the Month the job was posted on the Daily Dispatch, we received thirty applications, many from our neighboring states. I would highly recommend the use of the Daily Dispatch for job announcements.

The service is very informational to me and my department. We receive reports not covered locally.

I was very pleased with the advertising we did with the Daily Dispatch. We advertised our fire instructor’s position on the website. In the past we have only received 8 or so applications. With the help of the Daily Dispatch we received 28 applications from 6 different states. Thanks for helping us fi nd the right person for the position.

The Daily Dispatch ad we ran for the Caldwell Fire Prevention Officer (FPO) position (that closed on Friday) yielded some excellent candidates. We had ten applicants from within Idaho and five from outside the state, including one from the Marshall Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! Last time we only had a handful of applicants without the Daily Dispatch. It goes to show you, advertising on the Daily Dispatch really yields results! I also think the coverage of the Hurricane Katrina disaster has been outstanding in the Daily Dispatch news selections on it. Great job! Thanks! Doug

Thanks Chris for your assistance with the Pigeon Forge Job Ad. It worked because your ad generated an additional 20 applications for the Fire Chief's position. With your permission, I will forward our success story along with your pricing sheet to all of our fire departments and municipal human resource managers across the state. Thanks Again!
