The Mat-Su Borough Assembly passed a resolution on Tuesday adding 25 full-time responders and two ambulances to the emergency medical services crew, according to Mat-Su Borough Public Affairs. The first to be hired will come from a list of on-call Borough responders. The remaining on-call responders will help continue to augment emergency response when the Borough is overwhelmed.
