Family, friends and the community remembered one of our firefighting heroes today.
Funeral events were held to honor the life of Springville Firefighter Paramedic Jared W. Echols.

After the private funeral for family and friends, a procession of fire and emergency apparatus left Springville High School and traveled through downtown Springville, which ended at Springville Fire Station #1.
A Fire Department Memorial was held at the fire station, ending in a wreath laying in Jared's honor.
Attending fire and emergency services personnel were able to sign tribute books and leave messages of condolences for his family.
