Coffee county deputies are investigating a murder, after they found a person dead Monday.
Chief Deputy Ronnie Whitworth says police responded to reports of a burned car and a dead man on County Road 663.
As of Wednesday, the situation is being treated as a murder investigation.

"But I'm not at liberty to get into details at this time, but it happened on Coffee County Road 663. Fire Marshall's are involved, forensics and also ALEA is involved with us."
County Road 663 is located south of Enterprise, just north of the Geneva County line between Samson and Coffee Springs.
