Birmingham Fire Department: 1 dead after tree falls on residence in Center Point

The Birmingham Fire Department confirmed one person is dead from a tree falling incident in Center Point on Sunday afternoon. Birmingham Fire crews are currently on scene at the 300 block of 13th Avenue NW where authorities say the body recovery is underway. The Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency later confirmed the incident and death was weather-related.
