Tucson Fire Department attempts to save dogs with oxygen masks following fire

Tucson Fire is investigating what caused a house fire in the 500 block of East Flores Street on Wednesday. Firefighters were called to the home after one person who lived there called 911. The caller said there was an electrical fire in the home and that they had escaped safely, but there were pets still inside. When crews arrived, they searched the home to make sure no one was inside. During the search, firefighters found two dogs that were initially unresponsive. They were given oxygen. Two other dogs were also found. One is expected to be ok and the other did die at the scene. Two people lived in the home and are expected to be ok.
