Kimberly Campbell, Arizona Fire & Medical Authority Emergency Manager and Assistant Fire Marshal, recently received the Certified Emergency Manager credential. Approximately 2,800 people have this certification in the United States.
The CEM designation is the highest honor of professional achievement available from the International Association of Emergency Managers. “We are fortunate to have an emergency manager of Kim’s caliber on our leadership team,” said Eric Kriwer, AFMA fire marshal. Her immediate duties will include working on emergency operations and preparedness plans in the coming months, Mr. Kriwer added. Prior to joining the AFMA leadership team, Ms. Campbell worked in emergency management for the Arizona Department of Transportation and the State of Arizona.
