2 firefighters, 1 civilian receive minor injuries in east Phoenix crash

Two firefighters and an adult civilian were injured Saturday in a crash involving a Phoenix Fire Department vehicle, according to fire officials. The collision occurred at 32nd Street and Indian School Road in east Phoenix, according to an email from Capt. Larry Subervi, a spokesman for the Phoenix Fire Department. Initial reports indicated there were no injuries. But after further evaluation at the crash scene, it was determined that all three had received minor injuries and were taken to a hospital as a precaution. The collision is under investigation by Phoenix police.
