VIDEO: The Phoenix Fire Department responded early Thursday to a fire that spread to two stores in a strip mall near 59th Avenue and Indian School Road, according to a statement from the department.
Officials said they believe the fire, which was near the back of the strip mall, started from a detached shed located behind the building.
The fire spread to two stores and the roof of the building, fire officials said. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and checked the other stores in the strip mall.
No injuries were reported and investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
