The Chandler Fire Department is once again collecting toys to help brighten the holiday season for Chandler children who might otherwise go without this year. This annual toy drive will be held at Chandler Fashion Center, with a few exciting changes made this year to help promote a safe environment for everyone, including Santa Claus.
The highlight of the event will be Santa’s Enchanted Fire Village, a special destination built by Chandler Firefighters and presenting a special opportunity for children to meet Fire Santa and see his fire truck. The Chandler Fire Department Toy Drive will be from 2-8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Chandler Fashion Center, 3111 W. Chandler Blvd. The toy collection point will be in the parking lot west of the south-facing entry point of Chandler Fashion Center.
