PHOTO: State investigators say they found "potential deficiencies" at the site of a massive fire at a recycling plant in Phoenix. The fire erupted nearly two weeks ago at Friedman Recycling on Lincoln Street and quickly escalated, requiring the largest response in Phoenix Fire Department history. Crews were still dealing hotspots the next day. More than a week after the fire, an inspector from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality was able to access the site to conduct a "solid waste field inspection." According to the report obtained by 3 On Your Side, "potential deficiencies were noted during the course of inspection."
