Police are investigating a deadly, fiery crash in north Phoenix early Friday morning. Officers responded out to the area of 27th Street and Greenway Road after multiple 911 calls were made about a car on fire around 5 a.m. Firefighters extinguished the fire where crews found one person dead inside the car. A second victim was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Traffic is expected to be closed along Greenway for the next several hours. No other information was immediately released.
