VIDEO: Evacuations orders were lifted about 7p.m. Sunday for people living near a wildfire burning in Siskiyou County, California. According to the U.S. Forest Service, the Bar Fire, as it is called, is 30 acres and growing Sunday evening. Firefighters are responding to the fire in the Mill Creek Drainage. According to IniciWeb, the fire is burning in timber and was said to be showing a "rapid rate of spread." It broke out about 3:45 p.m. Scott Bar resident Connor Mitchell tells News 10 the power went out about the time the fire started. "I went outside to do chores and noticed a little plume of smoke and then all of a sudden the hillside was on fire putting up a giant plume of smoke," Mitchell said. That's when he raced to check on his neighbors in the area. "I just wanted to let my neighbors up the creek know the fire was coming. And then I went on to pack my own stuff just in case," Mitchell said.
