A fire destroyed a Rubio's restaurant in Oceanside early Thursday morning (December 9), reports FOX5.
The blaze happened at the Rubio's location on the corner of Oceanside and College boulevards around midnight, according to the Oceanside Fire Department.
It took crews several hours to get the fire under control, according to a freelance photographer with Sideo.tv, who captured a video of the flames that were still visible after 2:00 A.M.
According to FOX5, firefighters ran hose lines across the street and sprayed water into the building through an open door and shattered window.
Flames also reached the building's roof near the Rubio's sign. Officials used a fire engine's aerial ladder to spray water down onto the blaze.
FOX5 reports that there were no immediate reports of injuries.
