VIDEO: A van burst into flames after crashing nearly 200 feet down the side of a cliff in the San Gabriel Valley early Tuesday. The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. near South Turnbull Canyon Road and Beverly Hills Drive in Whittier. Responding firefighters found the vehicle on fire with flames also burning the surrounding brush. Video showed fire crews got a hose line down the hillside and doused the van, which was almost fully engulfed at the time. It was unclear if anyone was injured in the incident. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
