The Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department presented their annual report to City Council this week, reporting about 250 calls, 33 active members and nearly 3,000 hours of training by members during the past year. Fire Chief Mark Frasco presented the year's numbers and a general summary to Council. Frasco said they had 244 calls within the city, the same number as the prior year, and 251 total outside of the city. The call volume is consistent with previous years, Frasco said. The department has 33 active members, with five new "rookies" added in the past year and a new application currently in progress. He said full staff would be 35 members.
