Firefighters extricated a person who was trapped inside a vehicle that crashed into a semi-trailer truck Saturday morning in Brighton. According to Brighton Fire Rescue, the crash happened at 6:49 a.m. at Bromley Lane and Highway 85. Fire officials said the individual has been airlifted to Denver Health and is in critical condition. Highway 85 has been reopened following the crash, Brighton Police said in a tweet.
