The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment began operations at a drive-through COVID-19 testing site in Montrose Monday. The COVID-19 testing site was staffed by the National Guard medical team and served nearly 90 high-risk patients who had been pre-selected by area health care providers as a priority for being tested — 83 people were tested Monday; 74 from Montrose County and nine from Delta County. Also on Monday, Montrose County health officials announced the county's second confirmed case of COVID-19 — a 35-year-old man who had recently spent time in Crested Butte. The individual is currently in quarantine at his home.
