A young teenage boy was rescued by the West Metro Fire Rescue dive team after falling through ice on Crystal Lake and was taken to the hospital, West Metro Fire Rescue said. According to rescue officials, two girls and another boy that fell through the ice are ok after nearby residents pulled them out of the water. “They were closer to the shore and pulled out by neighbors who used hoses, extension cords and ropes,” WMFR said. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a father was shocked with a Taser stun gun when he was rushing to the water and taken into temporary custody. The Sheriff’s Office said it was concerned he would interfere with the treatment of the child. The father was released and went to the hospital with the child and the mother.
