The memory of Colorado EMT was being honored Thursday by her former coworkers. Ute Pass Regional Health Service District (UPRHSD) was dedicating its newest ambulance to the late Bonnie Culpepper’s legacy. Culpepper was killed in October in a head-on crash on her way home from work. At the time of her death, she was employed by Eagle County Paramedic Services, but had previously served with Ute Pass. “Our hearts are broken,” said Eagle County Paramedic Services CEO Brandon Daruna following Culpepper’s death. “Bonnie has worked at Eagle County Paramedic Services as an EMT since May 2023; she was also a musician, daughter, sister, friend and partner. We have lost a beautiful soul; we will miss her light and her spirit.” Her coworkers in the Pikes Peak region echoed Eagle County’s grief.
