Crews quickly extinguished a fire outside a shed on Sunday afternoon. The fire at 27 Kathy Lane was reported around 12:40 p.m. and was under control in five minutes, a firefighter with Eagle Hose and Hook and Ladder Company said. She said tires outside the shed caught on fire, but that the flames caused little damage and did not spread to the nearby house. Two engines and a ladder truck responded, the firefighter said. No one was injured.
