PHOTOS: Neighbors and police gathered around a car flipped on its side Monday afternoon on a narrow stretch of driveway between two Moore Place residences. “We just heard ‘boom,’” said Pete Mancini, who was inside his Moore Place home when he heard the accident, which left dents in the side of the home and extensive damage to its fire escape, adjacent to where the Honda minivan laid on its side. Three passengers were reportedly trapped inside of the car though no injuries were reported, according to Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Shay. The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Monday on the small, dead-end street. Neighbors gathered around the wreck, along with police personnel, assessing the damage.
