Hundreds gathered in Westport Saturday to say goodbye to a firefighter who died of colon cancer. Turk Aksoy, 46, died Nov. 22 following his battle. Westport fire officials say they believe his cancer was connected to his work, due to the carcinogens on the job daily. The service was held at Harding Funeral Home. Aksoy leaves behind two children.
