Joseph Michael Pascarella, age 71, of New Canaan, CT, died peacefully on March 21, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
Joseph was born on July 10, 1951, in Stamford, CT, to the late Michael Joseph and Irene (Balogh) Pascarella. He was the loving husband of Noel (Bellantoni) Pascarella of New Canaan for nearly 46 years. Joe was a member of the New Canaan Fire Company for over fifty years and served two terms as president. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council in New Canaan and served as Grand Knight. Joe was a well-respected ASA umpire with the New Canaan Men’s Recreational Softball League and umpired many softball games to benefit the Special Olympics. In recent years, you could find Joe working in New Canaan at the paddle hut, pool and tennis courts.
