7 displaced after fire in New Haven

VIDEO: Seven people were displaced after a fire Tuesday morning in New Haven, according to fire officials. New Haven’s Deputy Fire Chief, Christopher Ryan, told News 8 that the call for the fire came in around 6:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Winthrop Ave. When crews arrived on the scene, they found heavy fire coming from the third floor of the home. Ryan said all occupants were out of the home when crews arrived on the scene and no injuries have been reported at this time to either firefighters or civilians. The fire was contained as of 7:20 a.m. The fire is still under investigation.
