PHOTO: Former North Branford Fire Chief William Seward III was recognized by the Town Council this week for his retirement from service to the town.
"Chief Seward served with distinction as Fire Chief from January 18, 2005, until his retirement on December 31, 2021," Town Manager Michael Downes said.
The Town Council and Downes presented Chief Seward with a plaque in thanks for his 16 years of dedicated service at the regular Council meeting held March 19.
