The Delaware Fire Marshal's Office is looking into the cause of a house trailer fire in the development of Murray Manor in Stanton on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2019.
Firefighters from Mill Creek, Minquas, Cranston Heights, Belvedere and Newark were called out around 3:30 p.m., and after making an interior attack found the core of the fire to be underneath the trailer. After pulling off the trailer skirting, firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in less than a half hour.
No one was injured but the Red Cross was called in to assist the residents.
