A Thursday morning fire heavily damaged a home on Old Capitol Trail in Stanton, photos and video show. Firefighters were called to the home, located in the 5800 block of Old Capitol Trail, at about 8:15 a.m. for reports of the blaze. Firefighters found flames coming from the left side of the house. Photos show heavy damage to the roof and main floor of the house. Preliminary reports indicate there were no injuries. The fire marshal's office is on scene investigating the cause of the fire and where it started.
