Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred Monday evening, according to Public Information Officer, Corporal/1 Jason Hatchell.
Hatchell said on February 15, 2021, at approximately 6:39 p.m., a 2006 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Limestone Road (Route 7) approaching the intersection of Skyline Drive. A 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling southwest on Stoney Batter Road approaching the intersection with Limestone Road. For unknown reasons, the 2011 Camry traveled through a red traffic light at the intersection and crossed over northbound lanes of Limestone Road, according to Hatchell. The Camry continued to travel west and entered the southbound lanes of Limestone Road.
