This week Key West Fire and Rescue attended the annual Florida Keys EMS Awards hosted by Southeastern Medical Academy at the Florida Keys Country Club in Marathon. The Key West Fire Department presented awards to four of our Paramedic Firefighters and one Registered Nurse from Lower Keys Medical Center for their excellent service and going above and beyond the call of duty.
The following recipients were honored: Dylan Snider, Paramedic of the Watch, Green; Jennifer Kouri, Paramedic of the Watch, Red; Riely Barber, Paramedic of the Watch, Blue
Carlos Barba was named Paramedic of Year. Paula Turner was named Registered Nurse of the Year for Lower Keys Medical Center.
