Two workers suffered non-life-threatening burns after a large pressurized tank of hot lotion exploded at a Melbourne business. The lotion, which was heated to 170 degrees for processing, sprayed over the two workers, fire officials reported.
The incident was reported at 10:40 a.m. Monday at Absolutely Natural, 640 Atlantis Road, Melbourne police reported.
"It's a natural lotion company. One of the processing tanks had an explosion," said Cheryl Mall, spokeswoman for the Melbourne Fire Department.
One person, who had serious burns from the hot lotion, was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando for treatment of burns.
