VIDEO: A Wednesday night barn fire sent one firefighter to the hospital and claimed the lives of three horses. The first calls came into the fire department around 1 a.m. Crews arrived at 15255 Estancia Lane found what they described as "a pretty bad scene" at Serenity Farm in Wellington. One firefighter and two deputies were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. While many horses were successfully lead to safety, three horses died in the fire. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
