A Pensacola woman was killed in a house fire in the Woodland Heights area of Pensacola Friday night. The Pensacola Fire Department responded to a call of a residential fire on Ditmar Street just after 7 p.m. Friday, according to Pensacola spokeswoman Kaycee Lagarde. When fire crews arrived they found the house fully consumed in flames. An elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A man also in the house survived. Names of the victims have not yet been released. The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire, Lagarde said.
