One person was found dead after a fire damaged a Palm Harbor apartment building Saturday afternoon, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Palm Harbor Fire Rescue responded to reports of a fire around 2:15 p.m. Saturday at the Lakeview at Palm Harbor apartments, formerly Ashford on the Lakes Apartments, at 3994 Stone Hollow Court. Sheriff’s deputies also responded. The victim was found dead at the apartment building. The person’s name, age and gender were not released. No other injuries occurred, according to deputies.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and the state fire marshal are investigating the incident. No other information was released.
