A man was burned after an oxygen tank exploded, causing a house fire in Cape Coral Wednesday morning. According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, two people and two dogs were in a home along the 900 block of SW 23rd Street. An oxygen tank exploded in the back bedroom of the house, causing a fire to spread rapidly. Joyce O'Barske, a resident at the home, told ABC7 about the scary moments. "I was in my garage when this all happened. I had no clue until my husband came through the garage door and said, 'Joyce you won't believe it but fire, there's a fire!'" O'Barske said. Cape Coral police officers were able to help O'Barske and her husband get out of the home safely. Firefighters were then able to save their dogs and pet iguana. O'Barske's husband was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center to treat the burns on his face.
