More than 30 people were displaced after an apartment fire in Gwinnett County damaged 15 units Saturday afternoon, officials said. No injuries were reported during the blaze in the 3500 block of Club Drive near Lawrenceville, Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services said in a statement. Crews arrived to the apartments about 3:45 p.m. and found heavy smoke pushing out of the attic on the building’s back side. Residents had already began evacuating. It took firefighters less than 45 minutes to get the fire under control.
