Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John King's office now says the destruction of that a Banks County building has been ruled arson - and the agency is offering up to $10,000 for answers. The fire happened just after 8:20 p.m. on Nov. 8 in Banks County at 1471 Highway 198. And investigation reveals it was intentionally set. "The power was cut off to the outbuilding at the time the fire started," Commissioner King said. "Thankfully, the fire was contained to only the outbuilding and did not spread to the residence on the property." While investigators do believe the fire was arson, they haven't publicly announced whether they've identified suspects in the case or if there is any surveillance video available. The $10,000 reward applies to information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
