An unidentified body has been found in the debris of a Monroe County house fire. According to a news release, deputies initially responded to a ‘disturbance call’ at a home on Faith Court in Juliette around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The caller told dispatch that someone was trying to harm him and that his house was on fire. Monroe County EMS was sent to the home and when deputies got to the scene, they noticed the home was completely dark and had what looked like abandoned vehicles in the driveway. Deputies went to the front door to announce they were at the scene and found it was nailed shut. They then tried the side door and received no response before moving to the back door where they saw smoke coming from inside.
