VIDEO/PHOTOS: One person died, and six people were injured when a fire tore through a DeKalb County apartment building on Sunday morning. The fire erupted before noon at the Park Creek apartment complex, located at 2000 Bouldercrest Road, just south of Key Road. "We just woke up to somebody actually asking for an evacuation," resident Christy White told FOX 5 Atlanta. Firefighters informed FOX 5 that several people jumped from the balconies to escape the blaze, while others had to be rescued. "A lady literally got third degree burns everywhere," White said. "She was trying to jump from the third floor balcony." FOX 5's crews observed four people being transported from the scene by ambulance. "I saw the man get dragged out the building. He was burnt to a crisp it was so horrible," said resident Jazz Farley.
