Police are asking the community for help regarding an early morning shooting that led to the hospitalization of a 27-year-old woman.
Details surrounding the incident are scarce, but police said it occurred around 1:50 a.m. Wednesday on Route 15 in Pågat, Mangilao, by the entrance to the popular hiking trail 1,000 Steps.
The woman was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital. She was listed in stable condition, said Sgt. Paul Tapao, GPD spokesman. More information will be provided to the public as it becomes available, he stated.
The Guam Police Department is seeking help from the community on this investigation, he stated.
