Five people tested positive for coronavirus Wednesday, bringing the island's total confirmed cases to 37, according to the Joint Information Center.
Of those, one has died: a 68-year-old woman at Guam Memorial Hospital on Sunday, officials said. Additionally, four sailors at sea also tested positive for COVID-19 and were transported off the USS Theodore Roosevelt to Guam. The sailors are being treated at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam and remain isolated at U.S. Naval Base Guam in accordance with CDC protocols, according to the Joint Information Center.
To date, a total of 37 cases tested positive by Public Health and 233 cases tested negative for COVID-19.
All 36 remaining cases are in isolation.
