The Guam Police Department continues to search for a suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred last week.
On March 30 at about 10:11 p.m., A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority police officers responded to an auto-pedestrian collision on East Sunset Boulevard in Tiyan by DHL. The Guam Fire Department also responded and found a man who was “unconscious and unresponsive.”
The man was given CPR on the scene, according to GFD, but because of the injuries he sustained, paramedics could not continue resuscitation measures. The man was later pronounced dead at Guam Memorial Hospital at 11:32 p.m.
The GPD's Highway Patrol Division was subsequently contacted and launched an investigation.
