A blaze at an agricultural lot in Mililani that dozens of firefighters have been battling for more than six hours is finally under control. The blaze is at Geotech Solutions, which sells erosion control products. Through the afternoon and into the evening, the fire sent thick black smoke into the air that could be seen from as far away as Honolulu. Firefighters were called to the scene on the 94-800 block of Lanikuhana Avenue about 1 p.m. It wasn’t until about 7:30 p.m. that firefighters were able to bring the flames under control.
