A woman in Molokai is now without a house following a fire early Tuesday morning. Officials say crews were called to the scene on Pu’upeelua Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. The building was engulfed in flames when they got there and two vehicles were also damaged, according to officials. Fire officials said that one resident was at home at the time of the fire and escaped without injury. No other injuries were reported. Officials say the home was valued at $134,000, the owner was unable to give an estimate of the value of the contents. The fire department says the cause of the fire is undetermined.
