No injuries have been reported after a fixed-wing aircraft made an emergency landing in Maili, Tuesday morning. The call went out to the Honolulu Fire Department as an “aircraft fire incident” on in the 87-200 block of Farrington Highway around 10:40 a.m. According to HFD, the aircraft made the emergency landing and all passengers escaped without injuries. The plane was a Van's RC-12 that sat two people. The plane took off from the Daniel K. Inouye Airport just after 9 a.m. A report from Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) listed the location of the emergency landing as Lualualei Naval Road. The EMS report listed the incident as a “fixed-wing plane with emergency landing--no injuries noted to passengers.”
